Big E confirms he will fully recover from his neck injury, reveals WWE comeback schedule

Big E suffered a fractured C1 and C6 vertebrae again on the March 11 episode of Friday Night SmackDown and fans have since been provided with updates on his recovery. He’s now out of his massive neck brace and has mobility in his neck, but in a new interview with ESPN that fell on Wednesday, he confirmed that while doctors expect him to make a full recovery, he’ll be out of work at least a full year.

“It’s alarming to hear that,” said E. “…I think I’d be great at something like [pro wrestling]Or, at least to qualify, you can’t spend all of your time worrying about fatal injuries or a broken neck. You have to get out there and be free and right now. I think a lot of us as artists don’t spend a lot of time thinking about these things. I never thought I would be like that.”

E explained that his recovery included the use of a bone stimulating machine, stem cell therapy, and calcium supplements. He will also be returning with WWE later this month in Nashville for the latest WWE releases.

“Honestly, it wasn’t a dark period,” E said regarding his recovery. “I am so grateful to all the people who have checked in and reached out to me, who have concerns. I’m not saying I’m perfect. I’m not saying every day is the greatest for me ever. But I really haven’t struggled with that kind of thing.”

One of the many people who came into contact with him during his recovery was Ridge Holland, a wrestler who inadvertently inflicted injury when he threw an E with an upper abdominal strap into a bell.

“I have absolutely no problem with Ridge,” said E. “He reached out and said some very nice things…what we’re doing is dangerous, and there are inherent risks. To that degree, we all know what we have in common, and it was a pity that it was stopped like that. But I’m not dead. I’m alive.” . I’m good. “
